Jacob Zeigler (JZ) is a professional theatrical designer and consultant specializing in lighting design, audio engineering, and live event production. He earned his B.F.A. in Theatrical Design from Columbia College, with a focus in lighting design and a minor in audio engineering.Jacob began working as an audio technician at the age of 10, supporting churches and a local sound company, launching a lifelong career in production. After college, he worked on numerous touring music and Broadway productions, including the original Broadway run of The Addams Family Musical, the U.S. tour of Jekyll and Hyde, Eurovision (2008–2010), Rascal Flatts, Michael Bublé, and many others.In 2012, Jacob founded a lighting design and rental company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he provided design and production services for organizations such as the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Pops Series, Fort Wayne MusicFest, Electric Promotions Festivals, Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation, the Foellinger Theatre, and more.Over the years, Jacob has served as an audio engineer, lighting designer, systems designer, production provider, rental and sales manager, production manager, and technical director. He spent several years working in AVL integration, where he eventually launched and directed a live events and rentals division. As Director of Live Events, he developed and implemented a comprehensive inventory control, quoting, and client management system while delivering full-scale production experiences for corporate clients across the country.JZ currently serves as Technical Director for the Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation, and the Lighting Director at The Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
